![]() I'm looking to find songs about the lore of EQ...heck, any song related to Norrath! So far, I've found an in-game book, called, "Siren's Song", however, being a male, it's a bit odd singing about how men fall for you and the like, though all sillyness aside, I might consider performing it... I'm a deep RPer, and for the reason I haven't been getting into my Dirge is because of the lack of easy songs to find in relation to norrath. Granted, I could make my own songs, but I'd like to get some lore songs, also. Also, if there's anyone else who performs songs, and poems, I'd like to know how you do so, as in where do you put "/"s, and seperate the stanzas and the like, to make a nice, clean macro that's easy to read and people can almost get the beat and read easily the proper way you want to protray it. |

![]() The only Song that continues to pass through my head after all these years is a simple poem from EQlive called "O Thornless Rose". A Bard in South Qeynos wrote it for a girl living near the Temple of Life in North Qeynos, but her father disaproves. He gives you a parchment with the poem and asks you to give it to her for him. One of the first few songs that bards learn would play the actual melody to the poem if they had a lute equipped. Oh beautiful thornless rose, growing in the briar patch. Oh glistening crimson rose, you would be such a catch. Oh beautiful thornless rose, your essence has no match. Oh glistening crimson rose, your love I must snatch. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/....html?quest=497 |
