Monk Vs. Bruiser: Solo and Grouping

Which is better between the two in terms of soloing and grouping(not raiding)?

Also one more thing to tack on: do Monks tend to wear more robes than Bruisers?

Both Bruiser and Monk solo very well but I think Bruiser has a slight edge because they are a little more offence oriented where the Monk is more defensive.

Both have some trouble getting groups and neither are sought after for raids. Check the class boards for specifics.

Brawlers wear Leather Armor. Both classes can wear Gi, but they are few and far between.

Bruisers are typically more desirable as they can be considered a DPS class.
