I don't think I've ever seen a topic about 2 healers (both melee spec'd) duoing. Would it be effective or bore them to death style? I think a melee Mystic and Battle Cleric would be an effective combo.

You can duo with any class and it would be interesting with a Cleric. But why would you want to? If it's just for fun then it sounds good but I think if your really want to accomplish a good amount of content then you need a hybrid tank/dps class to duo with;

I agree . . . why?Could you do things? Sure. It would be slow though. Very slow.Look, our DPS is much better than it has been historically, but make no mistake about it. It's very "solo" focused. If you have to actually HEAL, your DPS is gonna drop off. Rightfully so.If you are gonna play a Mystic, a *great* duo partner would be a Zerker. The two of you could do some heroic content for sure, and you would fly through solo content.

Best combination I've found so far is Mystic/Bruiser. The leather tanks have REDIC avoidance so a preward will last a while as the Bruiser isn't actually taking hits but is keeping the aggro. Wards will last much longer than it would on, say, a Gaurdian. The Zerker option is also a more than viable one as they tend to go down the reaver line and keep themselves alive fairly well with life tapping. Also a big fan of the Mystic/Fury combination, my Fury friend and I have survived some pulls that just don't seem right.

I like the Mystic/Zerker duo myself. I do heroic content often with this combination. Bruiser would be interesting but IMHO I can get my zerker up in avoidance to in def stance that nears some brawlers which almost makes the whole point moot for avoidance, that is unless Sony fixes the brawler overall.

A healer duo, eh?Well, there's only one thing that I can think of that's better than a Mystic, and that's......... 2 Mystics! Why would you want any other healer?

Seriously, though, I imagine (though I haven't tried it) that duoing with a druid would be a very good combo, just because the regenerative/ward healing seems like they would complement each other very nicely. I can see how a fury would be nice because of the dps, though a warden could probably keep the duo going for a long time in a tough fight.
