EoF Retail and EU

Hello, I wonder if I might use my very first post to ask for a bit of help? I'm a new player, less than a week, having gotten the EQ2 Classic-Kingdom of Sky combo because I'm super-intelligent and knew the AP system introduced in KoS would be more use than Desert of Flame for a new player *nodnod* and not cos it was the only one I could find. Okay. It was the only one I could find. And therein lies the problem. I want to upgrade using Echoes of Faydwer, the retail set, to get DoF and all the extra yummy gubbins. But can I track down a copy? Can I beeswax! I played EQ for six years so wasn't stupid enough to think I could just walk into a shop and buy it but I kinda thought at least Amazon.co.uk would be able to ship me a copy, or Play.com or... but nope. Nadda. Nowt. Zilch. Does anyone know where I can buy a retail copy of EoF? Don't particularly want to use the DDL cos, quite frankly, I think thats a bit of a con. And I'd really rather it was a UK or EU based supplier - had too many problems with Customs and Excise before now, or discovering something is a bargain till you see the $75 p+p for 'Rest of the World'. I've just checked all the sites I use and your right, nothing

Amazon has a used one for £99 would you believe. Not available at Play.com or Gameplay and out of stock at Game.

The German Amazon site does have it though I dont suppose thats of any use - sorry I couldn't be more help.

Sounds like SoE needs to spank Ubisoft(I think they are the EU distibuter) and get them to release more Product to retailers.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It's rather irritating that here I am, trying to give SOE money and failing to find a logical, straightforward way in which to do so. Whereas my local Tescos, WHSmiths, Woolworths, PCWorld etc etc all have copies of Blizzard's baby. Still, thanks to sompet_eq2 and the dlgamer pointer, I've got all the expansions. Silly really, forgot all about them - yet bought all the EQ expansions past LDoN from them, multiple times cos I had three accounts. Thankies all Ansek of Runnyeye

Except the fact ubisoft stopped bein the dsitributor of EQ2 after KoS sometime. The company responsible for the straight out pathetic distribution over here is since EoF Koch Media, and they failed from the start on it, most stores didnt even get it untill after launch, myself I had to get the digital download and lose the extras since I had no way of getting the boxed version untill a good bit after relase. Im not surpriced they are still botchin it up.
