![]() I have just recently started playing EQ2 and I am thinking about sticking with the assassin I have started. My question is simple, what tradeskill is the most beneficial to an assassin. I rolled on a PvP server, so my needs might be different than an assassin on a PvE server. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

![]() I say either jewlrey so you can make your own jewlery and adept III's for skills or alchemy so you can make your own poisons and potions. Message Edited by Armill on 05-25-2006 12:11 PM |

![]() Jeweler is the way to go. There is an over abundance of scouts, especially assassins on the PvP servers, so you will often not be able to find your spells at adept 1 or atleast affordable. That way you can atleast make your own app4s and jewelry. Some times its cheaper to buy a rare, and get an adept3 made than purchase the adept1. As for poisons you can always find an alchemist that you can trade with, though if getting the rare poisons, I would recommend making the legendary poison vial yourself and just have him use one of them to make you the legendary poison. ![]() I am struggling with this decision too, I have narrowed it down to alchemy or jewelry. I am actually leaning towards alchemy right now because, although it's incredible important to have good CA's, after you have them (Adept 3 or higher I mean) then there is no real use to the jewel craft besides jewelry and CA's for profit. With alchemy, you will run out of poisens and potions and need to make more over and over again. So there is more long term benefit to it, and it seems to make a huge difference in play having good poises. There was a time when I wanted to do armor or woodworking, but people told me not too (still unsure why, wasn't given a reason by guild lol). Maybe I am wrong in thinking that, any other opinions? |
