A rangers request to assassins.

I am currently trying to compile spellists (aiming at t6), the assassin that agreed to help me out has been taking his sweet time in helping me update the list, so I am going outside the people I know to compleate this.I am not doing a ranger only side to this, but on comparison on abilities rangers are lacking (look at casting time to assassin abilities). Rangers lacking compared to assassins? lol.

Ladylore,

I dont think that it is worth comparing classes this way. I apreciate what you are trying to do but Assassins are simply not the evil equivalent of Rangers. We are different classes with different abilities, stances, proc rates on stances, possitional requirements, ranges etc. Class balance is hard to achieve and will IMO never be finalised. Assassins have been through all the hard times too, but comparing like this wont fix your problems otherwise you would have to compare all DPS classes the same way and then we might as well all be a generic DPSer.

Id also say that this might spark more arguments between Assassins and Rangers and we have enough of that already.

This is why I am trying to keep it to raw data. And those who say things like "rangers need an upgrade" or "rangers dont do enough dps" dont know what they are talking about. Perhaps you should reread that post and try and look at it with an open mind. I personally found the results on there shocking, and I also dont want any assassin to think that I am putting it on there as a one sided thing.
