![]() They modified this frontal or any positional attack to now only be behind attack .. oh joy just what we needed more attacks not useful for soloing .. but all whining aside .. what I have noticed is this ... The definition of behind has been coded down to a directly perpendicular attack .. if I am not perpidicular to target and I mean off by a few degrees yet still behind, this attack tells me .. blah blah you must be behind yet all my other behind attacks work .. I tried to search the forums for others noticing this but the search engine appears down. It is extremly annoying to have all my other behind attacks work okay and this one requires me to be at a perfect angle in order for it to work.

Yeah...I don't exactly mind that Cripple has been made positional, because the Improvised Weapon line is so much more useful now. But the requirement is way too restrictive, more so than any other positional attacks - like you said it does seem like it's more restricted than other rear-only skills - and it really needs to be relaxed a bit.

The angular range that is defined for "rear" was broadened to help with our Back Shot ranged combat art line, the problem returns however at melee range since the area that we must attack from is still defined as an angle and at melee range the area indicated by the sweep of that arc is quite small.

Not only directly behind but also rather close it seems. Gotta stand inside some of the larger mobs to do the behind shots.

I've stopped playing my sin for a while but will still keep up with the changes to the class. Regarding this, due to already having so many other main damage attacks requiring flanking and/or stealth I propose that cripple at least be made flanking and spitting asp definitely made flanking pls. It's already frustrating that we have so many positioning and stealth requirements, changing these two requirements will simply make it more enjoyable to play. Mobs are always turning cos of the MT, with many mobs in the game you cannot tell where their head and rear are as they look the same on all sides, also some mobs especially raid mobs are very big and it takes a very long time to get behind them and especially if its a moving mob. It's ok to have some of these requirements and restrictions but assassins simply have too many.
