Guides are too varied and opinionated.  What do you hope to find in a guide that you don't learn by just stabbing things?  My experience has led me to believe that most Assassins find their 'groove' in the way the do their attacks and don't often share it with other Assassins for any number of reasons: ridicule, pride or ignorance~  Some may do their CA chains and order differently than others.  Is it wrong?  Nah, just individual tastes, that's why its hard to write a guide for it.

EQ2flames.com has a few decent posts on Gear up through the TSO raid zones, but most of the gear listed is, of course, for Avatar raiding guilds.  While the avatar gear is good, there is more to equipment than just that.  They do list a fair amount of instanced loot though, which seem to carry all the right crit, DA and procs we love to have.  Peruse Lootdb.com or EQ2.zam.com for details as well.

I know there's some worldwide Assassin channel, but I can't for the life of me remember which server started it -- I think Guk.  Otherwise, just ask in your own server's Assassin channel; I think you'd be surprised how many folks would respond.
