I post this question here because I know that there are people here from a broad range of servers and I'm wondering if this is a Kithicore issue of if it's world wide. Were getting people in certain raid instances who will randomly be crashed to the desktop. This seems to be happening only in certain raid instances and from people with ordinarily stable computers/connections. So I'm curious if anyone else has seen a rise in this problem post EoF?I thought I read a few posts in the dev roundtable from others who were having the same thing happen but I can't seem to find them now. Labs seems to be the most frequent offender.

They reported issues and maintenance with log-in servers yesterday. We have seen this between zones and into group instances too. It seems it's being worked on. It's frustrating though, especially as sometimes it seems to kick people out of instances when they crash.Mirdo.

Aye, it seems it's world-wide.  I have noticed a significant increase with it with my guild on Butcherblock as well.  You're right, Labs is awful.  But I hear that clockwork menace factory is even worse.  I've scheduled a raid in there this weekend, so I hope they get it fixed.  I've also eliminated Labs from this weekend's schedule, and will probably remove it from the rotation entirely until they get it resolved.I don't mind a wipe to mobs, but a wipe to lag and server-side issues is a real pain.

Are you refering to the unrecoverable error that throws up a windowed box and as soon as you click it you're staring at your desktop?

If you answered yes to that question, then Id have to say its worldwide. I have been having this issue (oddly enough it only seems to happen at raids) since EoF launched, as well as at least one other guildie of mine. Im pretty sure its more then just the two of us, but Im certain about his cause we have talked about it a bit. Not sure what the problem is, not sure why it happens, but I hope they get the issues worked out soon.

We have had wipe causing lag in LABS since EoF. We have also had numerous zone hangs and boot outs.I'm not sure if it's because LABS have been so busy lately or if there is a more serious problem. I know it's an instance, but it I also know there is a TERRIBLE lag spike when another instance is formed (another guild zones in).

Spot on Tek.  We have had up to full 10 second delays in Labs, obviously causing wipes.  Click a spell / heal / CA, and it might actually begin to cast 2 seconds later..most of the time longer. This past weekend, I know there were at least 3 other guilds in Labs at the same time as us..and I believe I saw another group coming over the bridge just as we were zoning in.  And this has been the case since the day of EoF release.  I have no idea exactly what could be causing it, but I sure do wish they'd get it fixed. And don't even think about having the raid revive anywhere in the hallway from Slavering Alzid to the Ravager / Prophet / Reaver trio.  You'll spend 30 minutes trying to get all the the people who crashed to desktop back into the game.

The error occurs everywhere.  It appears to be in a resource file.  Its almost as if theres an AE or STA that is requesting a graphic, sounds, script or something thats not there,  and the error isnt handled.  Or its throwing a random incorrect memory access.  I have had it at the strangest time all over the game.  Except for in my house,  where I stay idle all day,  which makes me believe its not a /STD/LIB bug but a combat issue.

The funniest part is that everyone screams when the person crashes 'Do you have your guild roster sorted by zone!'

Great, thanks for the responses.  It sucks but I'm glad to see that we aren't the only ones getting this and here is to hoping it'll get fixed soon.Sorry it took me so long, our office was shut down about a half hour after I posted that so it's been a rather busy couple days for me SMILEY.

This isnt just an issue with Labs, it any raid zone that has more then one raid doing the zone. Monday we had gathered outside Freethinkers, as did another guild, and there were 2-3 from yet one more guild that were waiting outside. Their raid had already zoned in. So we had 3 full raids going at the same time, and the Lag was just about unbearable. We had at least one fight where it was so bad, our hotbars werent even refreshing properly. We had to kinda guess which CAs were up.

On a side not Zholain. If you happen to wipe in a zone when the lag is that bad, one of the little things you can do is have single groups revive. Dont allow the whole raid to revive at once and you should cut down on LDs.

Yeah, we figured that trick out.  But even better, we decided not to wipe to the Lag x4 named anymore.
