I recently made 62 and was extatic that I finally use all this great T7 armor and jewelry I hear about. But now I begin thinking, what is anything is good out there. I've heard everyone complaining about crafted stuff, (begin a 60 tailor myself) but I really want to upgrade some jewelry, armor, and weps. I have 5 acrylia clusters and 1 xegonite with 4 scintillating items. Is it worth it to get the wep made, or imbued rings even though they have no resists. Just wanted to hear everyone's opinion.Thanks.

![]() Was wondering about this as well. Based on what I've seen on broker the pristine imbued xegonite armor actually has less mitigation than the old pristine imbued carbonite armor I bought before recent crafting changes. I'm the sure the procs are slightly more effective, but doesn't seem to justify the upgrade costs. Is one basically forced to raid to get decent armor post-60?

There are a lot of quest that give better gear. Also some cheap Legendary drops on my server atleast. The only tier 7 tradeskill items I use are imbued xegonite chain pants, Imbued rings x2, handcrafted resist gear. I see a lot of people using Acrylia jewelry though. If it doesn't cost you too much you might want to have a set of that made for you as a stop gap maneuver.

![]() As far as I remember, Pristine imbued cobalt has 328 mit whereas Pristine imbued xegonite has 327 mit. Granted it IS lower, but the imbued effect is greater, and also (If I remember correctly) the stats are greater as well as the resists. |

![]() I had the Xeg Karabela made up, it's the easiest-to-find piercing weapon that's not a dagger or spear. As far as the rest of the crafted armor, I wouldn't really recommend it. Use the dropped legendary and spend your money on Adept III instead. I just got my Adept III Inspiration the other day, and the bad news is that I'm pulling aggro off the MT again with Adept III elude and aggro proc combined with deaggro poison, hehe. There's some really awesome quested or dropped gear, your class hat is hawt, Feet of Spykrachis, Bracers of the Task, etc.

![]() I bought me a full set of xegonite armor (except the helmet) and I like it! Example of stats: +16 Strength +16 Agility +15 Stamina +50 health +50 power +134 vs disease +268 vs mental +268 vs divine +134 vs poison +1 defense You can see the other pieces and the looks on my char here: http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=133693104

![]() I wouldn't get weapon made since you can find equal to or better then t7 crafted weapons easily. I didn't get t7 crafted armor before update but after update, I got 3 of them and I'm getting one more made. You can find armors with better stats but most of them doesn't have resist on it. I got chest, legs, and boots at the moment and getting hands made sometime soon. I would say don't waste too much money into head item since you can wear hat quest reward at 67. Of course all this is just my advice/opinion. |
