I'm currently using my Prismatic Scepter and Runed Combine Talisman. Before I got my Talisman I was using an idol, and the increase in AC is really handy, especially when groups of mobs tend to run straight for me often. Prismatic still can't be beat for what I've seen still in DOF so if you can get it, it's definitely worth the effort.

that would be a woodworker.

On a note on the secondary, that scorned aegis or whats its called that drops is scornfeather roost seems to be easier to get than a pearl/jeweler, pn my server at leats.

Aegis of Scorn is very nice.

btw, wand cast is like 8 seconds, so although the nuke is nice, you're tied up for 8 seconds doing nothing waiting to cast.  I used to have the t5 imdued rare wand and found it was just too long of a cast so i dumped it.

agree that the cast time is long, but when you're soloing and running out of power, it's great to use it (no power cost) along with a few wards if you can manage.  Really helps when power is totally gone.

Also, you can cast the wand while moving.. so you could in theory kite a mob if you wanted to.. (if you're REALLY bored)

By the way, i went with the wand, but am holding my T5 club for combat procs when needed. i would get a T6 imbued club, but no Wis :/ I am considering Aegis for 2nd, but it would be easier for me to get a Legendary crafted item, so I am holding out a bit - still have spells to upgrade SMILEY

I currently use my prismatic and runed combine talisman.  When LU16 goes through I will probably get a pearl orb for my ranged slot to hold me over.

What I would really like is a Tablet of the cryptkeeper for the BoM in my ranged and a better T6 shield or the heat enchanted buckler.  I will keep the prismatic for power regen and then get a T6 weapon of some kind for soloing.

Also, has anyone seen the T6 boots with flowing thought 3 ... anyone know where it drops?  They are chain armor and would be a nice replacement for the GEBs.

I found myself some ironwood today so I could have an imbued wand made but outside of prismatics (which Ill get when I have the opportunity!), what are the best craftable alternatives to the ironwood wands for a priest? You see Im about to hit 50 and I want to celebrate by getting myself some nice kit and I do like the idea of one of these imbued wands but was wondering what other good choices would be (not drops or prismatics though, just craftables). Thanks!

Just currious SMILEY

Primary:  Prismatic or Rahotep mace (DOF Heritage quest reward - An ancient desert power) .  Secondary:  either an imbued shield  for soloing or Tome of the Greenhood for grouping.  Its a nice treasured item with 17+ wis and other stats SMILEY   I'm on the look out for a fabled shield but really havnt seen anything I like T6 yet.  I cant wait for that symbol slot to open up, Im thinking a pearl orb for that.

some of the nice choices other than the wand are ....

imbued cobalt Battle Hammer : 10sta, 9wis, 9int, 34hp, 50power
imbued cobalt Rod : Same stats as Battle Hammer, but is dual weld and have lower Dmg rating. but looks cool SMILEY
imbued cobalt Spear : again Same stats as Battle Hammer

The notable thing about the pristine imbued cobalt rod is that it has a delay of 1.6 seconds and is the fastest weapon - since it has a proc itself - gleaming strike (and we also get two more proc spells with the tendril and dire invective line) AND you are unlikely to do a signficant amount of your damage with your weapon hits anyway compared to your DOTS/DD when soloing, the rod may be the best weapon since it gives the highest chance of your three procs going off... with the proc off the rod being a significant DD... Plus you say it looks cool.. to be honest as a defiler that as well as grouping does solo (which we can do so well), I lvoe procs and weapons that proc fast... P.S -5 wis/int balanced by +10 sta. Think Ill go with that until I get my prismatic... gah just need a lot of cobalt it seems (lvl 50 estimation - 5 cobalts.. chest, arms, gloves, legs and this rod, 1 pearl for pearl orb. At least I have the ironwood for an imbued ironwood buckler WHEN they get wis added to it :/ )

Personally, I opted for the pristine imbued ironwood spellbinder's staff.  Wish I could remember more of the features off the top of my head, but it has +21int and +21wis decent health and power increases.  It hits reasonably hard and the proc is the stronger 2H version of gleaming strike.  Don't be put off by the slower weapon speed.  Proc rates have been adjusted for weapon speed.  That is why bows proc so often/hit.  In fact, since we have so many slow casting spells, you will actually proc more often with a slower weapon, since you won't be swinging but every couple of seconds anyway.  The 21int translates into a 2% increase in spell damage and the 21wis is a nice plus up to the power pool.  All for the price of one ironwood and one lambent.  It seemed the most cost efficient alternative to a casual player like myself.

Depending on me mood, me uses:

Juss got a better hammer, forget the name right now. has no proc but does better damage, still testing it though

or

2] Staff of the Boar [2Hd] 40th level Fabled
[ http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=55303 ]
procs Ancient Glyph of Flame, an awesome 200+ damage proc, so me keeps it handy when solo'ing.

Can't wait to find me a pearl :smileyvery-happy:
