Ancient Balm, should be be able to cast this while mezzed,stifled,etc...

Maximum power pool increases bonuses have been adjusted to be more consistent throughout level progression. This will increase the amount of maximum power bonuses below level 60, and lower it above 60.
- Weaker tier spells will no longer be able to overwrite stronger tier spells.
- The double attack skill will no longer work with ranged weapons.
- The following spells can now be cast while feared:
* Bruiser: Indomitable Will
* Bruiser: Close Mind
* Defiler: Voice of the Ancestors
* Inquisitor: Fervent Focus
* Monk: Will of the Void
* Potion: Freedom of Action

I beleive that are ancient balm needs to be this way also, the abilty to cast it on a member even if we're stunned,stifled,or mezzed, and now they fixed it where defilers can cast theirs while being feared also... Ancient balm is huge but key point you can't be stunned,stifled,or mezzed, or even feared to cast it...

What do you all think??

Would be cool to be able to cast Ancient Balm regardless if we have a control spell on us, but i think its stretching to compare these two spells.

Ancient Balm is a single target "cure all" spell, and Voice of the Ancients is a group spell that cures only control effects. They are both cures alright, but it seems to me they are meant to be doing different functions.

Would be darned handy to be able to cast it no matter if we're feared, stuned or whatever though, not gonna deny that.

You might not be able to use it while under mez or stifle... however, ancient balm has one advantage that none of your other SPELLS have (at least, that I know of).If you don't wanna figure that one out, highlight below:Try casting it on the run =PI dunno if this is a bug or what, but it comes in handy sometimes.

Isn't the recast on Ancient Balm like 20s? I know the recast for the Defiler's Voice of the Ancestors is 2m. Perhaps that's why one can be cast when stifled, feared, etc and the other cannot.

recast is 8s last i checked. .and the 2min recast on defiler spell is prolly cuz it can be cast while under control effects as well as being a grp cure heh
