Actually I didn't figured it out after all, it just poofed again lol.  I'm a ditz :smileysurprised: Ok, here we go again, I duo with my bf he's an SK. We fight lizard men, his Abject blessing poofs all the time while fighting them. Now we've been camping this rock, and taking sleep shifts to get it, over 170hours woo! While he sleeps I solo the nearest groups, my Abjects Blessing has NEVER been dispelled off me. Why is his getting dispelled but mine not? I'm such a noob for not being able to figure this out :smileysad:   But it irks me, I'd like to buff him knowing it'll stay on.

Some mobs have spells that will dispell your buffs, I believe that your tank getting feared will do it too.

But why can they never dispell buffs that are on me when I fight? It's the same buff, is it because it's my own spell on me?

Kind of a stupid question here, but do you cast it on yourself as well? My Abject Blessing goes off for me all the time, as well as for anyone I cast it on. Abject Blessing should first be cast on yourself, then on the main tank. It takes up two spots in your little bar thing, but is well worth it.

My biggest problem is the mobs magic taking off my group buffs such as Doubtless and Fanatical Reverence and the like. I can't recall if I've ever had to recast AB - sure I've had to, but not nearly as much as the other 3.

Yup, I cast it on both of us. When he fights it's dispelled every other fight at least. Yet I'll solo the same mobs for hours and they never dispell it off of me. My  3 "shields" get dispelled sometimes, but it's rare, and I think in the past 20-30 hours of lizard soloing I've only had to recast one of em. I should probably be thankful, my own buffs never seem to fall off me... Just makes me wonder why his is so easily dispelled, all the time, lol. I don't even know why I bother using it on him anymore, as soon as I look away it's gone lol.

My guess would be that you simply have higher mental resistances than the tank. That aside, was it an aoe type?  If not, the dispell should only affect the target, removing all his buffs.

Our resists are just about all the same.. It could be AoE or single target, either way it's not affecting me. He's napping now, and I've killed about 5 groups solo, my buffs stay put. Now if he were killing them, his buff would have dropped on the first group. It just doesn't make sense why we're pretty much equal in resists and everything but when his buffs get dispelled and mine don't. I think he's buggy.. Poor thing.

Fear always does this, only buffs that stay are your own.  When you get feared all the other buffs go down.  If I have Abject on someone and they get feared, they lose it every time, its not just abject either, its every buff but your own and group which come back when fear is off.

More often than not the fear gets applied to the tank, which causes him to be registered as not grouped, which causes him to lose the buffs. Also makes it irritatingly difficult to heal him. Ive discovered the only way to heal the tank during this time is using group heals, single target heals wont work, as you get a message saying "not grouped". Quite irritating.

Ohhh, so that's why I get that message sometimes. Now it's all coming together :smileyvery-happy: That really sucks though! I usually just move up a step and that cures the bug but I agree, it is HIGHLY irritating.. I really hope it's a bug and they didn't intend for that stuff to happen. Yucky bugs. Thanks again for your help, explains a LOT :smileyhappy:
