![]() I am honestly confused and I'm hoping that someone else can help me out. Celestial Strike (I think that's the one) now comes with a Paci that is broken when the mob takes damage. Can somene help me to understand the purpose / helpfullness of this?

![]() For me every second counts, those extra three? seconds make all the difference for a heal when soloing. The pacify also works quite well in PvP

![]() For the record, its the smite line that has the pacify, however, the 3 second pacify on there can server as a buffer for our normal pacify line. Our pacify is not able to be even almost chain casted until Sign of Frailty in tier 7. Even now, there is the 2 second cast time. You can use the smite 2 seconds before the pacify wears off, thatll cover the cast time of Frailty, serving to keep your mob (minus resists) pacified 100% of the time.

heres the key when usign that spells pacify as an actual pacify. you must make sure that you dont use it to finish a HO since the added damage will break the pacify immediately after casting it. the tier 7 sign spell lasts for 20 seconds with a recast of 20 secs, so cast the strike spell with pacify as a segway into your refresh of sign. This can allow you to permananently lock down a mob and slowly whiddle its health down without ever taking a single point of damage. Note, that you should also use the stun to go nuke crazy so that the fight doesnt take forever

![]() Welcome to Templar CC! I have been using out Pacify spells more and more of recent, especially when soloing whilst harvesting. The smite like has a short pacify duration, which will give you enough time to use your proper pacify spell. When soloing if I get an add, that is what i do. Keep the second mob 100% pacified whilst killing the first. Also whilst pacified you can apply all of ur debuffs just as long as u do absolutly no damage. These spell lines are very very useful imo. Don't forget them!!

![]() Thanks for the info. I knew there was a purpose and a use, but it just seemed odd to me when I first saw it. |

I think the intent on that spell is for solo purposes. Start an HO, nuke with it, then not get interuppted when completing the HO with your next spell. It's not there for CC, it's there for you to complete HO's.
