Ok am I missing something here.  This spell seems totally useless.  Other classes get fun spells that are actually useful and we get a stupid spell that makes people bow to us?  Is there something else to this spell that makes it useful?  A paladin gets a horse that adds run speed and looks really nice.  Druids and Shamans get to shape change.  Not sure what other classes get but sure most are useful in some way.  And what adds salt to the wound, this spell does not even work on everyone, I tried to use it on a friend that is same lvl as me and a paladin and it wouldnt work on him!

Please enlighten me if im missing something here or SOE please inform me why you thought this would be fun and useful for a Templar.

Shapeshift isnt usefull at all either - if you want to talk strictly by value of function. Having people bowing down to me is REALLY appropriate though! SMILEY Its is a FUN spell, and I think this sounds really fun! But fun is of course a subjective matter.

if all these spells are just supposed to be fun then everyone should have no use at all.  And I know for a fact the horse the paladins get add run speed since my friend can outrun me and i have jboots on.  Also, I had read somewhere in beta that the shapechanges added different stats, which in turns make them useful.  I also saw a conjurer that was in flames and he moved really fast which i took as a side effect of the flame spell.  I would think this is his fun spell and it looked useful with the added movement spell.  So, I see usefulness in all of these and not just fun.  There is absolutely no usefulness at all with our fun spell.  Either make them all nothing but fun or give us something that is useful.  Oh, and it cost me 14s for this useless spell.  Atleast give us an idea of what it does before you make me waste coin on crap.

Main problem with this spell is now it is limited to your own group (wasn't at first in beta, i was running around making all elf bow for me) and to people lower level than you. So only use i found is to get that high elf bow before my dorf **ZOMG** SMILEY.

If this is true, then Im very mistaken. Sorry about that. In any case, our usefulness in groups is unparalelled, so I am ok for now with our fun spell SMILEY

For usefullness, I consider my tank asking the group why the heck he's bowing after a heal useful in terms of humor.  Oh my... I haven't laughed so hard in ages.

For extra fun, /moon them as they are bowing to you. Woe be to the lower level people in my group; they can now consider it incentive to level faster.

It's ok, better than some get.  My bezerker looks like he is running around with his **ZOMG** on fire.

A horse vs a bow or stat-adding shapeshifts.  Brilliant sense of balance.

I have to agree.  I've been pretty disappointed with the new abilities I recieve as a templar; maybe it's just the chain of crap that comes around 20 (Amending Fate, Faith Respect, Watery Respite).

You need to purchase it from a scribe in one of the city zones. This does not include the starting burrows, so North, South, or Qeynos Harbor scribes should all have it. I picked mine up from the scribe near the South Qeynos gate in Qeynos harbor. Cost me 14 silver and some odd copper.

It can be bought from the scribe shop in any city I *think* not 100% sure.

How do you get this spell to work? Every time I try and cast it I get "Your faith holds no sway over this one." Is this spell broken or something?

It is not supposed to be a useful spell. It is a spell that adds a bit of flavour/fun to the game - nothing else. If you don't like it - don't buy it.

If clerics should complain about a spell it odessy - now there is a useless spell :snakes-head:

As a 22nd level Defiler, I can tell you that our fun spell that gives us rat form has no other benifits than the look. My friends Trubidor's just causes the group member target to dance and my other friends Warden's spell does nothing at all that we can tell. So, the only ones realy getting extra is those like the Paladin/Shadow Knights that get some speed increase.

Not quite sure of that. I need to get some oddedsysydyedsy (can't spell it) stones and try it on myself. If that works, then I don't need to wait for CoQ to repop! Yay. How many times have you been stuck in the wilderness and need to gate back but have to wait another 20 minutes ... ?
