Armor quest...where do they start?

I am new to the game and heard players mention armor quest. I did a few quest on the starter island that gave my character better srmor and 1-2 on the main land. My character is level 16 and dressed pretty poorly and using a sword with the base damage 5-14.

So, where are these armor quest, on the mainland, and at what level can he start them?
