I'm guessing this is a trick question.

I can't see more than 4 things wrong with it in the 15 seconds or so I spent looking.   I know, there are probably more.

Only 4 bugs means it will readily pass the EASYGEAR 3000 gear generating script  filter,  and make it to live.

Too tight a filter on bugs and  the revamp would have disarmed levels 1-80 completely.  You wouldn't want that, would you?

It doesn't have a red bandana wearing turtle attached to do the end of it?

Leaving it alone was better than what they did.

It's a sai classified as a staff.

It does crushing damage, which is weird for sai, and it only can be done if you're holding its blade and bashing things on the head with its handle.

It can be used by scouts and zerk/guard but has no str or agi.

The only thing that is actually right, that it has 4 seconds delay usual for scout weapon.

Anyway, "It's a Sony". :p

Also its highest stat is for priests and priests can't equip it.

Actually a sai is not used as a piercing weapon in Martial Arts. It's primarily used as a club. If you look at photos of the real weapon, you will see that while it has a point, it is blunt and the blade is not sharpened at all.

Just sayin'

I know this is a trick question since this looks like an item SOE designed and is working as intended, but I'll give it a whirl.

Sai: Piercing

Sai: Dagger if anything.

Sai: Brawler

Sai: Str not Wis/Int

Sai: CPSR not Focus

Lore-Equip: Lol?

Rating: 13 + 73 / 4 = 21.5 not 21.3. I have to assume this means the damage low/high ends have decimals too, which is lol.

It's a multiple use weapon, used both offensively and defensively, and designed so the hands can grip it several different ways.  All 4 ends come into play, as do all 4 sides.

While it is technically crushing and it's 3 pointy ends may not be sharpened to a fine point,  one of it's many uses is for thrusting daggerlike into the face or abdomen below the rib cage.   It concentrates the force of the thrust and will certainly penetrate lethally.  Any of the 3 points can be used, depending on the sequence.

It should have been named the

Sigh of Despair

After the feeling it evokes from the players?

There is really nothing unusual about it at all.  It's frakked up, yes, but that's not especially unusual these days.

Gah! A Sai is a blunt weapon. The point is rarely sharp and only a point to cause more damage with the awkard grip you have when you flip it for a point out jab type strike or an elbow strike if you use a proper sized Sai (which few do). Most of the time you have the Sai out it's for blocking or a club like strike.
