Hi, is anyone else having problems doing this? Every group i join either dies or only wants to kill knights for there own quest, not even caring about wizards in the group or any other robe wearers. I'v said every time i go into a group that i need to kill torrents, stuff in the library and that goo stuff, then they reply with "lets kill knights". This is extremely hard for us, was wondering if anyone who has done this, how they managed to do it?Thx

I just completed AQ5 and everyone so far has been like this. Ire minions for AQ4 and Fey Rock Heaps for AQ5. It's not been that the groups have been unwilling to hunt those, but more that those seem to be the hardest to find/spawn.

Trouble is it's basicly up too the tank what and when you pull. If anyone but the tank pulls then the tank get all high and mighty in their over-estimated self-worth. They are useful but just as useful as every other member in the group. My advice is make friends with a good tank that will help you with what you need and understands exactly what they are doing.

I know guilds aren't for everyone but joining a good guild that has people that want to help each other makes this alot easier beleive me ... if I wasn't in a guild it would have taken me a month to do the 5 AQ quests I have done SMILEY

And if you join a good one you might even make some friends at the same time SMILEY

Yeah, i did join a guild a few days ago, but there all online at about 2am here peak time, so its kinda hard, i might just try and do one step at a time by asking people in stormhold if they can help me with kill the stuff i need, instead of joing a aq3 group, unless its a wizzy one.

The very light armor quests are given by a guy named Glidis (something like that) in that wallled rock guarden in front of the dojo in Elder Grove if you are in Qeynos. I haven't gotten any of AQ3 done yet, but I just hate Stormhold to begin with. Died twice doing the relic quest.

Dreska look me up online.. I'm a 20 Warlock on MM doing the quest.. What I find is it's easier to start a group and get them to do what you want then it is to find a group and ask.. But in any case give me a tell we can know it out together..

Wait till yo get to AQ5 and 6 and you find groups split in 2 halves to camp both Fey Rock spawns, or you race around the Steppes killing placeholders for Steppes Beetles only to have another group / individual jump on the beetles as soon as they spawn.  Same with the Sabretooth Chanters in AQ6 - clear out the crater only to have everyone else stand there and jump on the chanters as soon as they pop.  Who said camping died with EQ2 SMILEY

I did all the armor quests for very light armor and in my honest opinion, it wasn't worth it. You can get almost as good tradeskill armor that you can actually sell when you've outgrown it. Furthermore, the armor has a rather limited lifetime. By the time you get into your early 30's, you should have replaced most if not all of it (if not it will be green or grey con to you). If I were to repeat the 20's, I would just buy tailored armor and join exp groups. I suggest you do the same.

does everyone have to assume that EVERYONE is from Qeynos here? For the evil wizards, like myself:Kirsteh the Witch in East Freeport.. she's in the building where you sign up a guild.

That's a good point... but I did notice that the xp's for turning in the quests have been very good.  6-9% for the first 2.  I'm working on 3 now and having trouble getting a group together for it.

Which crater is this?

I'm going for these mobs tonight (as they are the only ones left I need to kill).

Is it just any crater and the gnolls are just placeholders? or is it a certain crater?
