I'm not sure what quests you experienced this with, but for the most part, quests should be group friendly. Sometimes that isn't quite feasible due to the mechanics involved, but we do aim for it!

Most quests are intended to be completed with a single run through of a zone, or at least reasonably close to it. Knowing how bad luck can hit some of us, it isn't something completely avoidable sometimes.

Was this one of the signature quests, by chance?

It is the Sig Line with the collections (need 19 each). I have logged out so I don't have the names. It is the 4 you get from the middle of the library. The Ro zone the flame things were group update and we got plenty. The Air (ROYGBIV) and the mud one (with the super cool speeding snails) we did not get enough (15 or 16 only) and they were not group updates. I did not do the forth yet so I am unsure of it.

So far 1 of 3 zones was group update and enough dropped to complete the zone. In the 2 zones that were not group update we did not even get enough for 1 person to complete it. Is the intent for them to be group updates or solo and is it supposed to be one trip through the zone or two?

Thank you for the response, Conifur! They are all group updates now, and I'll be taking a look at the Gusts in Air. It sounds like more creatures need to have the chance to drop them as loot.
