Since Kunark requires the 'old' harvestables from Thalumbra, wouldn't it make sense for them to also spawn in Kunark (well, Obulus)?

I totally agree and had asked if the harvestables would be added to OF. Haven't seen an answer yet. Of course, I am used to new zones having their own harvestables so maybe recipe changes are coming.

Shadeweave Buds are trackable but not visible. It looks like they are under the ground.

Suggestion: since we're gonna still be using ToT materials, can we get a recipe added to the goblin vendor for amalgams using the lvl 100 materials?

Actually the answer is in the original getting started thread https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq...adeskill-beta-testing-getting-started.572803/

  • There are no new common harvests; instead, Obulus Frontier has a single rare harvest node, the shadeweave plant. When you see this plant, you know you'll get a rare!
Whether that changes who knows. It's Beta Smile

I know that there are no NEW common harvests, but it doesn't mean that the 'old' harvests shouldn't be present in Obulus. It seems silly to have to go to another continent to harvest materials for quests here.

Not sure why they want us to go back to ToT to harvest but I did notice that finally the shrubs are fixed. I didn't seem to be getting any deepstone roots of them. Need to do a few more runs to make sure.

Sadly I put in another hour and got a deepstone root so this remains unfixed.

I second, third, and fourth that! We need updates for the amalgamations. Maybe Raffik could send some new mail that includes the new recipies BigGrin

I only make t2 amalgamations due to the fuel costs. I do agree that its a great idea though.

We've always gotten rare roots from shrubs. Did they say they were going to change that?

maybe new Raffik's quest could involve the new boat mechanics, only we are looking for Raffik instead of our gear lol

you know, last time he was on his little boat, so eager to sail away, his little eager inexperienced mousy booty was bound to get captured by some pirates/slavers Wink

Did they change it for all tiers? Because I thought I was still getting rare root from shrubs in the lower tiers. I'll have to watch more closely to check.

There ya go, crafters who choose to do the Frillik Tide find Raffik chained up in the bow, as a reward for freeing him he gives you the new recipe. If you've done his chain to that point of course.

A few weeks ago I was harvesting shrubs in New Halas (the lvl 10-19 ones) on a new provisioner and only got roots for rares instead of the rare food (this was after harvesting about 100 shrub nodes). I remember because I was specifically trying for food rares and only got roots.

Except for the newest bush (fungal) nodes, they changed it back in AoM when they introduced the rare food harvests.
