You've been busy!

The jewel tones make otherwise semi-ordinary stuff extra-dramatic. Very striking! SMILEY

And... I'm about to contradict myself, since my own favorite is the kitchen stuff that's less dramatic...

You're very talented. Keep up the good work. SMILEY

LOL yes, VERY busy indeed! *nods*

I absolutely love the "jewel-tone colors. I think they definitely make things "pop" and add a new dimension (of sorts).

The kitchen set, ugh,. lots of work there, with 3 submissions / re-textures to the set.  The first set had a cream colored plaster look to the exteriors of the pieces, with black cast iron. Devs wanted the interiors/ exteriors to match more, so did them all in the brick (as plaster interior just doesn't make sense). Then they wanted them to look more "used",..... so I dulled up all the black, added a bit of "rust" to the water pump, food stains to the pot, a bit of extra "soot" stains to the interiors & exteriors of the "fire areas" and wear marks on the burners. Over all a LOT of work and re-texturing, but I think they came out pretty good.

*I edited to show all 3 texture variations*

IceSy are you using Adobe Photoshop to work on textures? If so what version?

There is a great tool in CS5 that is called smart sharpen, it can really make texture pop.

I primarily use an older version of Adobe PS,. but also use CS6. I'll have to play with that feature more. Prob is I need a newer comp, as CS6 tends to lag me down a LOT. Thanks for the tip! *hugs*
