Updated after November 1 patch

(note that the patch notes a day or two ago said that mastercrafted was fixed to be 92, but we're seeing only the handcrafted level change fix, not the mastercrafted fix)

Grandmaster Tailor's Basic Compendium, Volume III

  • Martial bear pelt gloves, woven bear pelt gloves, martial bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt mitts, woven bear pelt cloak - are level 95 to equip, and should be level 90, like other handcrafted gear
  • Woven bear pelt gloves - recipe is difficulty 94 and should be difficulty 93, to match the level of the recipe book
  • martial bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt mitts, woven bear pelt cloak - use pelt primary, but are cloth type armor. As such, they should be using matoppie root as the primary build component.

Grandmaster Tailor's Advanced Compendium, Volume III

  • While this is a level 93 book, two of the recipes are difficulty 94 (martial reptile hide gloves and woven reptile hide gloves)
  • All 6 items from this book are level 95 to equip, and should be level 92, as with all other T10 mastercrafted (martial reptile hide gloves,  woven reptile hide gloves, martial reptile hide cloak, tranquil reptile hide cloak, tranquil reptile hide mitts, woven reptile hide cloak)
  • All three cloaks, and the tranquil mitts should be cloth armor using the rare (banyan) roots, just like they are in every other tier.  (They are currently using the metallic reptile hides instead)
Grandmaster Tailor's Basic Compendium, Volume IV
  • tranquil bear pelt cap, tranquil bear pelt shawl - using leather primary for cloth type armor. Should be using matoppie root
  • woven bear pelt shoulder pads - recipe is difficulty 93 and should be 94 to match the book
  • martial bear pelt shoulder pads, tranquil bear pelt shawl, woven bear pelt skullcap - recipes are difficulty 95 and should be 94 to match the recipe book
  • tranquil bear pelt cap, martial bear pelt skullcap, woven bear pelt shoulder pads, martial bear pelt shoulder pads, tranquil bear pelt shawl, woven bear pelt skullcap - recipes are equip level 95, and should be equip level 90 to match the start of those sets, and all other handcrafted gear for the tier
  • woven bear pelt skullcap uses the glove icon for the item, and in the recipe book, when it should be using a leather helm icon
Grandmaster Tailor's Advanced Compendium, Volume IV
  • martial reptile hide shoulder pads, woven reptile hide shoulder pads - recipes are difficulty 93 and should be 94 to match the level of the book
  • martial reptile hide skullcap, tranquil reptile hide shawl, woven reptile hide skullcap - recipes are difficulty 95 and should be 94 to match the level of the book
  • tranquil reptile hide shawl, tranquil reptile hide cap - this cloth-class armor needs to use rare roots (banyan), not rare pelts
  • all items in this book are equip level 95, and should be 92 to match mastercrafted progression
Grandmaster Tailor's Basic Compendium, Volume V
  • Recipes in this book are ALL level difficulty 96 to 99 ... should they not be 95 to match the level of the book?
  • Items from this book are all level 95 to equip, and should be level 90, the same as other handcrafted gear of the tier.  (Item names spelled out below in chunks, but everything tailored that I've seen in the new books is level 95 to equip, and should be 90 for handcrafted, 92 for mastercrafted
  • Blessed martial bear pelt pants, blessed tranquil bear pelt pantaloons, blessed woven bear pelt pants, imbued martial bear pelt pants, imbued tranquil bear pelt pantaloons, imbued woven bear pelt pants, blessed tranquil bear pelt robe, imbued tranquil bear pelt robe, blessed woven bear pelt tunic, imbued woven bear pelt tunic, blessed martial bear pelt gi, imbued martial bear pelt gi  - 1) missing primary ingredient, items cannot be crafted, 2) items should be equip level 90, not 95
  • chaos imbued bear pelt hex doll, discord imbued bear pelt hex doll, ruin imbued bear pelt hex doll, shadow imbued bear pelt hex doll - 1) hex dolls should be using roots, not pelts, 2) they should be using the common roots, not the rare pelt since they are handcrafted, 3) they should be equip level 90, not 95, 3) recipes use "bear pelt" in the recipe name, actual items produced use "matoppie" in the item name
  • tranquil bear pelt robe, tranquil bear pelt pantaloons - 1) primary ingredient needs to be changed from thick bear pelt to matoppie roots (again, tranquil is cloth armor, which needs rootses  )
Grandmaster Tailor's Advanced Compendium, Volume V
  • Recipes in this book are ALL level difficulty 96 to 99 ... should they not be 95 to match the level of the book?
  • Items from this book are all level 95 to equip, and should be level 92, the same as other mastercrafted gear of the tier.  (Item names spelled out below in chunks, but everything tailored that I've seen in the new books is level 95 to equip, and should be 90 for handcrafted, 92 for mastercrafted)

  • chaos imbued reptile hide hex doll, discord imbued reptile hide hex doll, ruin imbued reptile hide hex doll, shadow imbued reptile hide hex doll - 1) hex dolls should be using banyan roots, not pelts, 2) they should be equip level 92, not 953) recipes use "reptile hide" in the recipe name, actual items produced use "banyan" in the item name
  • tranquil reptile hide robe, tranquil reptile hide pantaloons - 1) primary ingredient needs to be changed from metallic reptile hide to banyan roots (again, tranquil is cloth armor, which needs rootses  )
  • all 3 versions of the tranquil reptile hide robe use a flaming pelt icon instead of a robe icon.  -.-

Updated the above with another book's worth of bugs.  Still not able to find anyone with the drops for the other 4 books yet, but it is one more checked off the mental list, at least.

Ok, I'm missing one recipe book, from the patterns I am seeing, I've got a good guess as to what bugs I'll find in it.

If anyone else finds anything buggy with these recipes, please add to this thread, and I'll update the master list.  If anything gets fixed in a patch, also let me know, and I'll update accordingly.

All tailoring books now accounted for.  Please post updates if you find anything I missed and/or that changed after a patch.

I updated the first post, so folks could see the progress made on bugs, and what was still outstanding as of November 1.

I'm also noticing that for the first time ever, we have both blessed and imbued chest and legs, instead of both being called imbued (chest being an imbued heal, legs being an imbued damage proc).  I think I like it, for more flexibility in those two slots, but I expect a lot of confusion from customers at first.  SMILEY

The top post looks a bit jumbled, so here it is broken down a bit differently from the new /bug report:

This covers the new level 93-95 tailoring recipes.

  • All items in the three Advanced books other than the hex dolls need their equip level lowered from 95 to 92 (the patch fixing *some* mastercrafted levels didn't catch anything but dolls for tailors)
  • martial bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt mitts, woven bear pelt cloak, tranquil bear pelt cap, tranquil bear pelt shawl, tranquil bear pelt robe, tranquil bear pelt pantaloons - use pelt primary, but are cloth type armor.  They should be using matoppie root as the primary build component.
  • martial reptile hide cloak, tranquil reptile hide cloak, tranquil reptile hide mitts, woven reptile hide cloak, tranquil reptile hide mitts, tranquil reptile hide shawl, tranquil reptile hide cap, tranquil reptile hide robe, tranquil reptile hide pantaloons - should be cloth armor using the rare (banyan) roots, just like they are in every other tier.  (They are currently using the metallic reptile hides instead)
  • woven bear pelt skullcap is using a glove icon instead of a leather cap icon
  • All "bear pelt" hex doll recipes need to be renamed to "matoppie" to match their product AND need to use matoppie root primary.  All "Reptile hide" hex doll recipes need to be renamed to "banyan" to match their product, AND they need to use the banyan root primary.  (Hex dolls in every tier use roots)

These bugs are all still in effect as of November 6.

Still no change on these, and I don't want them missed, so booting the post up with my oversized halfing feet.  Yell if you need any clarification on 'em  SMILEY
