BLs need to tame their pets

Their pets are way out of control. They do a lot of damage and some classes have no way of deagro'ing them save run far away (hard to do in some BGs). Even those that can deagro will have diffculty if the BL has any talent at all. I have seen many a healer stand and try to take the damage of a pet and fail. I am thnking everyone should have a pet like that.

Any opinions on the dps and survivablity of the BLs? Am I way off base? I see so many BLs now it is not even funny. Or should I roll a BL and be an OP class?

Unfortunately you are probably stuck with this situation until the expansion comes out. Then, your best bet is to hope that the new AAs for other classes make up the gap. If not, do as you suggested and play the 'if you cant beat em' game.

Well summoner pets are far more problematic in my opinion but solution is the same kill the caster and be done with it SMILEY
