Cannot vendor junk items

Hello! Old time player, stopped just before F2P conversion, and jumped on again last week. I noticed that I can no longer sell anything to vendors. To be clear:

It is not that I am selling items, and they are disappearing and I am not getting gold.

It is not that I am attempting to use the broker to access the auction house.

It IS that I do not have the ability to sell any items to any vendors in all of Norrath.

I have been looking through the forums, google, etc. and the only information that I could possibly find was the coin cap. To the best of my knowledge, the coin cap only prevented earning money on these transactions, as in I should be able to sell something just not get money for it unless I was under the cap. This affects all inventory items from the lowly Vial of Viscous Ooze up to the now defunct Gloves of Concordance (rp purposes, have not decided on upgrading to gold account yet).

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to "get rid" of some of the coin you're carrying. Putting it in the bank won't help, you have to get rid of it. The solution is to buy crafting fuel. It's one of the few things in the game that sells back for what you buy it for. So, if your coin limit is 3 plat (for example), buy enough fuel until you're carrying less than that, then stick the fuel in the bank. You can sell it later when you need the money. Once you do this, you should be able to sell your junk to a vendor again.

Ah! Thanks a ton. From the wording, I was just under the impresion that you could sell it, you just wouldn't get any money. Thanks!
