![]() This may be answered somewhere, and I am just starting to completely do all the quests for the city, but I was wondering, is there a Sultan of Maj'Dul? Seems kind of a mysterious figure |

![]() That is a great question! I'm sure there are spoilers elsewhere, but I'd recommend working through the city quests at least up to and including "The courts of Maj'dul of fate and destiny." To date this is my favorite LONG questline. It requires quite a bit of dedication by today's standards, but it and the quests leading up to it explain a lot about Maj'Dul. Eq2wikia has a nice outline of what prerequisites you'll need to complete it. |

Not a Sultan, no. I forget the actual title he calls himself, but the entire Ring of Fate questline has you dealing with the ONE person who secretly rules over the entire city and replacing him with the rightful heir.

![]() When you start the MajDul quests, there's no sultan. He's supposed to be dead long ago. "Officially", Mudeef the Vizir is the regent until the Courts agree on a new sultan. In reality, he plays the Courts against each others to stay the MajDul's ruler forever. |
