The SOE Child’s Play Charity Drive

SOE is teaming up with Child's Play again this year!

Help us support sick children in hospitals around the world this holiday season. $10 can make a big difference!

Child’s Play seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world through the kindness and generosity of the video game industry and the power of play.

Purchase special Child’s Play items in EverQuest, EverQuest II, Clone Wars Adventures, Free Realms, DC Universe Online, Magic the Gathering Tactics and PoxNora and SOE will donate $10 per item, up to a maximum of $50,000. Items are available starting December 6, 2011.

These very special items will only be available in the month of December so don't wait!

The EverQuest II "Child's Play" bundle includes both a house pet and a cosmetic pet of a fun cube. So it can go in your house, or accompany you while you're out and about in Norrath.

adding an exclamation point at the end of this looks bad. Several times I have read it as Childs Charity Drivel. funny tho.

You would probably get more support on this if you just said for every $10 you spend in the market place we'll donate $1 or something else. I have no need for a wooden box that follows me around...that's just awkward. Maybe a dradel, but even that's pushing it.

Question -- the snowfall cloak that was offered in a previous year (last year?) is listed in the sale tab and the examine text still lists it as a Child's Play charity drive item, however it's not listed under the Child's Play category. Could someone please confirm whether the cloak is intended to qualify for the $10.00 SOE donation this year? Because some folks are purchasing it thinking that they are making a donation.

I looked at it too. Wish y'all coulda come up with a better donation item. A deco child of each in game playable race would go along with the theme of donating to a charity that benefits children and give decorators a new room to consider decorating. A kids room.
