Underfoot Cheese Plate buff does not persist through death /sigh

So after you nerfed the Gift of the Underfoot charges, I went and got this plate so i could have this illusion forever, but as it turns out this illusion does not persist after death like the Gift of the Underfoot illusion does, had I know this, I sure as heck wouldnt have bought the plate for this illusion that only last until you die.

Is there any chance this buff could not drop on death? Otherwise its really worthless to me SMILEY

Makes a good point, kinda stupid mechanic. Would be nice to have it fixed. I mean it is a RL cash item so should be a priority to you guys.
