When you state for a month, is it like a trial thing? You want to see who gets it?

Or after a month it will be gone?

25$ is a bit much for me but it won't be until next month before I get the money. If it is something that will come back later I'll wait.

At least a month... I believe the idea is to bring them down after a little bit when there's a new mount available.

They look very neat, but $25 is about $15 too much. That's nearly double a month's subscription.

I guess we knew it was coming to this...pretty soon all the "cool" things in game will have to be purchased from the Marketplace. SOE already gets 3 accounts worth of money from my family each month. Perhaps we should cancel one account and spend the $25 to get this mount? LOL

The only thing I will give SOE props on (regarding the Marketplace) was the Facebook contest in which we were able to earn Station Cash.

Don't get me wrong, they are sweet looking (love the blue and purple ones). I just think $25 for one character is a bit much.

Can you tell us if anything similar will be coming out in-game in the near future?

I object to ANYTHING being available via station cash that we can't earn in-game considering this is a paid subscription game. I don't object to people being able to buy such things (I think they've kept the things on there in the "nice but not game-breaking category" for the most part), but exclusive items break the fundamental idea of subscription-based games where subscribers can, with enough effort, get anything attainable in the game. Station-cash ONLY items breaks this IMO. Free Realms (and the like) can put exclusive to-pay-only items, and that's fine, as that's how they support their game (and you know that going into it), but if I'm paying already, I want (with effort) to be able to get anything. This is not the case right now.

Wow... $25 for this mount and it's NO-TRADE? I sincerely hope that is a mistake, because that's a LOT of money for a mount that you can only use on a single character. If it were Heirloom it would be different, but $25 for a no-trade mount that looks like a modified version of the SF CE mount just seems greedy. (Not to mention that if I bought the CE for the cat mount, which I didn't, I would be pretty annoyed to see the model available for purchase, only with better stats and a slightly more colorful appearance).

You guys really make it hard for some folks (like me) to accept/like the marketplace when you put stuff up like this. Especially since mounts with stats are another step past the "doesn't affect gameplay" line, although I am glad (from this perspective) to see that the stats on these are rather tame.

Looks cool, but I don't understand the price point. I guess if you guys have that many people wanting to pay that much money for it than more power to ya.. but there is no way I could see myself paying that.

Please spend less time whining and more time winning, it contributes to the general growth of the game and makes gameplay more enjoyable for all.
