I've not got Achievement Point [AP, not AA -- I'm playing EQ2, not EQ1] xp from pre-DoF named mobs, whether grey, green, blue or orange con (haven't had the right people handy for white, yellow or red). All mobs were L20+ and heroic (if not epic).

YMMV. And if it does, let me know which old-world mob, so I can kill 'em. SMILEY

All of the named for Cove of Decay access gave AA xp as well.

Nothing in T1 or T2 zones ever gives achievement xp. AP system is meant for tier 3 and upwards. Even though the Rumbler is lvl 21 and thus Tier 3, its in ant so gives zero AP.

Correct. I did several lvl 20+ quests but ORIGINATED from Commonland and didn't get any AA exp at all. So anything that originated from either CL/Ant or lower Tier wouldn't give any. I bet that named Griffon in CL wouldn't give AA exp either.
