Using purified golden fleck on Academic's Katar of Evasion, Academic's Katar of Fortitude and Academic's Satchel of Endurance showed no "refined" label showing up on the recipe window before I started the combine, nor did it result in refined stats or the refined label on the weapons.

I didn't do further refined testing on my WS, as I'm going to go out on a limb and say something isn't working right with refines and the weapon recipes. BigGrin

Note that raw harvestables purchased off of the merchant cannot be refined due to an exploit protection.
