I just checked all my completed overland collections from beta and it appears that none of the rares, ie those that are part of two collections, are no-trade so I'm cool with it. It just seems odd they'd make an apparently non-rare solo shiny no-trade. I am a bit miffed that the solo instance shinies are no-trade because I'll have no reason to run them once I'm full on tokens and heroic/raid gear though. I guess I'll have to time how long it takes for them to disappear to see if SLR will be worth it, and I guess it means finishing the meta will be easier because it's a guaranteed rare shiny in most cases, but once I'm done with the solo part of the meta, again I have no reason to run these zones. This won't be an issue for the first couple of months, but I know from experience that farming solo shinies keeps me interested and gives me a reason to log in for those times I have nothing else to do later on.”

I don't pug any more.. in KA I -couldn't- pug on my warden because there is no way to tell if I can solo heal a random group until I'm IN the group.. because it requires the other people to be geared enough AND for the tank to realize he can't pull the entire zone. I could solo heal 'my' SK even in a lowish dps group because she didn't 'assume' she and the group had piles of wards up all the time. I tried pug healing a few groups.. even ones better geared then my normal non-pug groups and there were always deaths.. some times many. because people refused to 'understand' what lack of wards meant for pulling.

I still think you're over stating HOW often/many people are jerks if you think more people will get rare shinies if the only way to get them is to get them IN zone (ie be in a group that loots them or SLR) then being able to get them on the broker.
