That is a good point, though usually the Producer posts things like this in a Producers Letter.. >.<

Depends on the game and the producer. For some games the CRM posts Producer's Letters (which are a bit more formal than a Monthly Update Plan) on the Producer's behalf. Because these articles are published on the web it's easier for me to post the forum version as well.

Because every other Producer in the history of the game aside from SJ and her has posted on the forums consistently.

Interesting, totally depends on the individual is my response. I've always seen SJ as a pretty active poster for a producer (and now executive producer). I may even have teased him on occasion about it.

A change at producer level is always a big change in personality, I have every faith that you'll come to appreciate the current version as you get to know her and appreciate her for who she is. Expectations built by previous Producers will fall by the wayside as you get to know her and future Producers will partially be judged based on her performance as well. And the wheel on the bus will go round and round.

So, if I'm reading this right.

Windstalker is just here for a short period of time? We already know she isn't going to stay on board?

That's not healthy for the game. EverQuest II has had too many producers as it is, each with their own "vision". The game has suffered because of this.

How you read "short period of time" into what was said is beyond me.

Because that is the way it read, it almost sounded like they got somebody else waiting in the wings. The word future, and performance.
