ok I just recieved this email this afternoon seems like they gotta find the bug first, which by this email looks like they havent found yet.

Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment.At this point since your firmware is up to date and you've made the requested changes on your end then it's likely that this is being caused by a bug on our end or in the voice chat protocol which we're currently investigating. We expect to have a patch ready to correct this soon but I don't have an exact ETA at this time. I sincerely appreciate your patience so far in this matter and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
