*Skips everyone's posts due to walls of text* =P sorry guys.I'm all over the place so I'll put it in pointsa) Kill x mobs with them being rare mobs. Hopefully that's been done away with since they redid the books, though I still have most of the series 1 ones *groannsss*b) Rare mob updates. Unless I'm looking for something uniquely special in that mob (Like, say, a perfect stomach with no flaws for a necromancer) I see absolutely no reason for this. If I can nab OTHER quests that have me killing more numbers of the same mob for a regular update, that may be more bearable. As is, the rare updates in Seb are annoying the heck out of me (though running COA every day helps...) c) I ADORE quests which are well-thought out and have a good reason for being there. Case in points are mainly the epic line quests - prismatic, the Ring of Destiny, Claymore, Godking, and SoD had amazingly well thought out plotlines which I love to follow. We *need* to have more lore in this game so that people don't just go "oh skip the dialogue" and are engaged enough to want to read it. d) I HATE running all over the place. Quests that send me five zones away just to get an update... and then run all the way back... are NOT fun. Timesink != making me run all over. There's plenty of interesting ways to make timesinks, such as adding steps to quests, but running is not one of them.e) Consider who ELSE will do a quest. Being a questaholic, I do every d a m n quest I can get my mitts on. I've gone back to TD to do those, and the most annoying ones were getting the mobs below 20%. I had to literally unequip ALL my armor and weapons because of all the procs they had, and even then I'd miss because my AA line gives my fists an inherent proc. =P True, the argument is that the quest wasn't made for level 80's, and it works fine as is, but devs might wish to consider who else is likely to do them.f) I detest quests which ask me to "kill X mobs" as I've said before, and would honestly like to see them limited in number. Anything more than 10 is going to find me getting pretty annoyed. And that's only if the mob is common. If the mob is rare.. see point one.
