I still think the only problem with this promotion is that they announced it before they had solid information as to whether or not the existing loyal customers were going to get anything, as well. Beyond that, I just don't see the big hairy deal everyone has running up their backsides.
OTOH, from the tone of some of these so-called "loyal customers", I gotta wonder if SOE is thinking, "Why do we even put up with these trolls in the first place?" I swear, just once I'd like to see a mod/Dev step into these forums & say, "Hey, if you don't like our product or service, take your money elsewhere, we don't need your rotten attitude!"
After all, that's what they told ME back in January ... & I didn't go anywhere near as far as some of the people in this thread. Seriously, there are some people in this player community that desperately need to grow up, or else get punted.
