If your a min maxer the erudite and dark elf are your races.But to be honest, the racial abilities only matter to a small degree at the lower lvls, yes even with the recent changes. makes it slightly easier to kill but at the higher to end game they dont add anything significant whats so ever. I am a Wood Elf wizard. Out of the races mine is shafted the most when it comes to racial abilities. I can achieve the same or greater dps then most dark elf or erudite wizards, WHY? b/c skill of the play matters about 99.9% of the time when it comes to dps.
