And come on they made the fae then they made and "evil" fae that was REALLLY lame. that like makeing a human then a seperate human "race" called Evil human. It was lame. Sarnak is a lizard still but it's compleately differnt from an iksar. Have you seen the Fanfair or any of the other videos showing off the sarnak it has some amazeing animations.
Or making a seperat evil Elf race and calling it Evil(Dark) Elf, or a high and mighty elf race and calling it High Elf or making a Human/Elf hybrid and calling it Half-Elf or making an oversized Human and calling it Barbarian or making a bald blue human and calling it Eriodite or making a short human and calling it a Dwarf, or making a scaled down human and calling it a gnome.

All of the classes you are disputeing are races that have existed already in eq1 lore. (and most fantasy lore) Anway dark elfs and high elfs dont look alike. I think you may be right that wood elfs and high elfs might be a little repedative but it was in eq1 lore. I'm fine with the EQ1 lore most of the races were humanoid yes. Because that is the easiest thing to do. But the Fae as playable WAS new but all they did was rehash the exact same thing with different wing and hair styles and skin colors and made it a "new" race when it wasnt new. They should have either only made the Fae betrable or not if they were going ot make an evil fae race. It was just a rip off of the last new race. I for one am extreamly happy to see the Sarnak comeing. I just thought makeing 2 New races almost exactly the same was a bit lame. Old races that are similar that is fine cuz you need to have lots of simialr but diferent things to start of a game.
