Is there a way to revive these people? I have no real reason to revive them except that it seems like the right thing to try, at least if they are the same faction as me.
My Warden is level 40, and I have used my achievement points on movement abilities rather than healing.
I'm not even sure whether these people have been abandoned. Although I suppose if the operator signed out perhaps the dead character would disappear from the screen.

You should have 1 out of group res spell. All of the others are for group/raid. Drive by SoWing noobs is fun.
