I rather like the current tradeskill progression and hope it doesn't go away.

Knowing that my alchemist can make all of my new character's spells/combat arts and jewelry up to level 19, or that my weaponsmith can make all of my new cahracter's bags, armor and weapons up to lvl 19, or that my provisioner can make any bows totems, etc up to lvl 19... Even in the second tier, it provides me with an amazing amount of self-suffenciency and independance that I enjoy as they don't really earn enough money to pay someone else for these things until T3 anyway.

I've spent many an hour just moving things I've placed an inch or so over "that-a-way."
