I haven't met any defilers with that attitude...There seems to be a lot of defiler hate whenever mystics get nerfed. Just ignore the haters, their anger will fade eventually.
The difference between defilers and mystics. Defilers seem to be slightly stronger against individual tough mobs while mystics seem to be stronger vs grouped encounters. Everything else seems to change monthly depending on who is getting nerfed or enchanced, as the case may be. The biggest difference is what city we live in. I prefer freeport homes because I can decorate them better so I'm a defiler. I also like the lore of the class slightly better. Abominus and the Countenance line are my favorite spells in the game.
actually i agree with holymoly here. we are gods on this earth. mystics are there to be rep dispensers. mystics are far easier to play in PvP imho, largely because of the Defiler's extremely long casting times. but once you get your timing down, you'll be awesome.
