All the wasting of time and money for a mount that isnt as good as the carpet just for the look makes this an instant joke. It will be an instant stigma for me as to the type of person riding it. Do I want to group with someone that thinks that mount was a good idea? My god their armor is color coordinated too. I guess he/she didnt think the extra stats were worth looking like rainbow.
Just because someone doesn't look like a rainbow dosen't mean they don't have the best gear available to them... it most likely mean the devs looked at the armor sets and said hey.. neon pink wouldn't look right with rust brown and decided on a different color for it (heaven forbid dying in this same I still have nightmares about the neon pink ogers and trolls from EQ1) As for the mount... It looks cool... as for the speed... well it depends on the difficulty of the quest.. yes you could get teh carpet at level 47, however a group of level 47 would not be able to complete (hell when I did it you NEEDED a level 60 tank and others, but that was before KoS) Still won't get one tho... I'm a troub and run faster anyway... don't use my carpet either

I agree that the speed was held back.. like someone said. if they constantly raised the cap.. the game will top out too quickly (kinda like EQ1 is now),, and comparing it to the guild purchased mount if not a fair idea because of the amount of work needed to actually get those mounts available to that guild (gods level 59 is LONG) this is for those people who were complaining that the horse mounts were getting boring... which they are. I wouldn't mind the quest opening a guild level 60 mount that looks like this but has the buff from the calvary horses costs status and plat, just like the other guild level 60 mounts... that'd be cool
