I'm assuming that we'll have to pick and choose which toons we want to keep, and which to delete. Max amount of slots is 6 or 10 depending on subscription options. I don't see SOE making an exception to that policy (that would just open up a door and set the standard from here on out).
I have the 10 character subscription service, so I have 10 toons on the American side of the house and 5 on the Euro side. I'm going to do some soul searching and find out which I can part with. Then again, I deleted my 70 toons to start fresh on PVP servers - I'm crazy like that.
The only thing I see that would push the 30 April due date to the right would be a delay in pushing the GU out. It is "slated" for 25 April, doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen.
