In order to properly troubleshoot this, I'll need to ask a couple (seemingly inane) questions: Does your laptop have proper cooling underneath? What have you changed or installed recently? Have you tried removing the .INI files from the EverQuest2 folder? Have you uninstalled your security software to see if it was causing the slowdown?
