Kick you might want to review some of the threads on test - not only about status loot, but also about the change to the patron system.  The fact that guilds will no longer loose status when a patron is depatroned AND the addition of status loot items is a problem.  I agree that the status loot items by themselves would still require either a GREAT deal of time or money to get a guild to level 30, but when you combine the two changes to the system together getting or achieving guild level 30 becomes a complete joke.

The new system allows for patron swapping.  So if all your patrons have completed their HQs and a significant portion of your guild has not yet finished theirs you're set.  Merely get all your guild members to the final step of their HQs then swap out patron status for them as they all finish them.  No big deal - easy to do - guild level 30 presto.

Either way you look at it, all that hard work your guild put into getting guild level 30 will be "buyable" by others very soon since status loot items are completely tradeable.  And no matter how much of an insane fortune it would cost to procure enough status loot to get there, the very idea that guild level 30 is in any way "buyable" makes me ill.  I think it's very sad that they are going to make all the hard work your guild, and many other guilds, put into achieving the accomplishment of guild level 30 a complete joke with their currently proposed changes.
