Those are two totally differant skills, so you can't compare them. Elaa's slice is our 5 minute (or 225 seconds in this case) heavy backstab, while Ebon blade is just a one minute backstab.

Anyway, just give it a few levels and Ebon blade will start doing more damage as you get more skill in it, also make sure you have it upgraded.
