Errr, only if it would add 2 levels (5 skillpoint per level) it would add significantly to dps. Is this SO? and if so how much?

I wear vla and chain.

And there isn;t a level increase to dps from Boon, it supposedly make it easier to hit red con mobs by upping your general skill, I never have a problem hitting them, just keep swindlers going or that fighter/scout ho.
