I got to tank again last nite in LT, more on that at the end. I rolled a 16 crusader in FP a few months ago to get a feel for tanking (to improve my priest skills etc) and found that going from shaman to tank took all of about 10 seconds to master. my trial by fire was a full pickup group going all the way down in Wailing Caves. I kept a private tell going with my healer to make sure I would not pull before he was ready but I found tanking pretty much like soloing my defiler. priest-fighter classes are pretty close in tactics. We had a group doing Peacock series in LT/SC last night with a Fury, Warden, Defiler, Templar, Mystic. Yep, a 5 healer grp questing. Just kinda worked out that way. Grp was 57-60 and mobs are 55 herioc at best there so we were never in danger. I did the tanking and as long as I landed the 1st HO, I pretty much kept agro the whole fight. Temp was my healer. Others played DPS role LOL. The Temp took a dirt nap one time as he agro'd like 8 heroic grps at one time, so instead of fighting, 4 of us invis healers stood around him and watched him get flattened 8-). Really felt strange seeing 4 healers watch another healer die without helping. Mobs didnt agro us, then reset and we rez'd him safely. I did get REAL jealous of the Fury grp invis though.....
