first post for me i think.. been reading a lot on everyones experiences Love my warden - heres my thoughts Pre-nerf wardens healed pretty Godly if you stacked all the regens and healing up right... in my opinion we really did need a nerf and i mean a serious nerf (and if a warden thinks they needed a nerf they probably did). Pre-nerf we were able to solo the splitpaw arena on hardest (level 56 pit champion) without needing fabled gear (yes i did it 3 times to make sure i didnt get lucky on first two) - remember this was while templars and most melee couldnt even get close to this. ...  we had it very good for a long time and its hard being pulled down from the cloud we were on... Post-nerf things were very difficult and clearly we are no longer intended to be burst healers but i think this is where talent takes over from lazy 'poking the buttons now and again'.  Its no good waiting for the tank to get 0 hp and when you are fighting things that hit for 4k you have to have your regens stacked before the tank takes damage.  I feel like an EQ1 bard these days to a degree, having to repeatedly press the same keys over and over in a sequence when on a full burn heal BUT.. with the buffs wardens get and the right use of our Duststorm line and the correct timing of our heal over times we can still cut it with the bigger healers.  Its just important to remember when to time those heals.  I do feel overall the heals should be tweaked up a tiny bit maybe 5% or 10% but thats something for the future.  I feel more sorry for the poor guardians that lost about 2k hit points overnight which hurt our style of healing too, or the warlocks that are finding it hard to get groups, we all got hit by the nerf bat because the game changed.... for the better. Once i got over my sorrows of no longer being able to heal for 2k in about 3 seconds or take on the nearest named in a way that a group does, I got into the expansion and found it exciting and enjoyable, I actually found myself liking the expansion despite the large nerf. Without risking saying too much I am still soloing stuff most classes cant even think of doing (3^^^ heroics 2^^ Named and group of up to 6 heroics (not the crappy kind)) because of certain other spells we have, this is a potential area for nerfing and so I dont really want to encourage any more change in some areas of our class.  If you compare warden power pools and defensive skills to fury you will see why they need dps to solo as well as a warden.  I am well aware these skills do not translate so well into groups but as you have seen I do feel a 5 to 10% tweak is all that is needed to bring wardens back into line with the other healing classes, currently i get over this by timing the heals as best i can and using the emergency prods and sometimes group heals to top up the healing needed i still find i have time to poke a nuke or two in on a full burn heal, its all about the timing to maximise your heal potential. One other thought - anyone else not lost a duel yet? SMILEY luv ya.. keep up the good work on beta and fly the flag for a small tweak in the power of warden heals - PS oh.. and lets keep hammering on the warden heals stacking issue (but judging by the number of people that cant see past what we used to have, that wont be an issue soon because wardens will be rare enough not to worry about it)
