yes. an adept 3, no matter at what lvl you have recieved the spell, will hold better than an app1.

in this case the only determining factor when comparing two spells is the quality, aka weather the spell is app, adept or master.

the spell being lvl 10 or lvl 60 has no influence at all on resist checks.
