bottom line: wizards are where wizards suppose to be. on par with overall warlock damage. there will always be certain encounters that favor one class over the other and some of the more emotional players will come in the boards to whine and complain how one class is far superior to the other.

It's funny hearing a Wizard complaining about someone else whining given what the rest of us have listened to over the past 10 months or so - if you bother to do the math you'll see that Wizard single target dps is now at least 40-50% ahead of Warlocks. And don't give me any rubbish about Warlock's AoE dps making up for it - 80-90% of the game is single targets. Being ahead in 10-20% of encounters does not make the classes equal like they should be.
